For sure.

I only keep RVs about three years, so hopefully won’t experience structural failure. I only ever kept one RV ten years: a Winnebago Class C. It was as good when I sold it as when I got it, with a few repairs over that time.

We bought this one for the layout and other features. So far those are delivering. Have 37 days in it for 2020 so far.

I’ve bought dozens of RVs and never noticed this shoddy workmanship. It takes no time to use a fine blade saw and little time to run a sander over it.

I’ve fixed the bed and will do dinette when I modify to add drawers.
Our 2007 had finished wood everywhere . . even under seats, behind walls etc. But in the days of lean manufacturing and cost saving I guess this is cheaper.

I'm not so sure its all about "cheaper"...I think its harder and harder to find craftsmen.

I have bought lots of things over the years and end up using my own fastners, adding my own guides, etc. More RV's getting built, more labor needed and sometimes they guy installing dinette bases may not think its an issue. It's something we'll note and put on a list to improve.

there was an earlier comment "hassled me for a VIN"....just a side note to anyone, we always ask for a VIN. that way we can not the conversations for the next person you might get. This is not hassling...its doing their job.

NHTSA requires us to code all complaints.

Sorry, it is a big hassle not needed for simple questions. Means you need to go find it and wade through the phone tree and wait again.

Very customer unfriendly.
