What did I do to rv today

2014 georgetown 360xl purchased new. Had a water leak since new we took it the dealer who told us it was fixed. NOT!! 4 years and 5x’s in different shops from pa to Arizona to Florida they all said they did the best they could to try and realign the slide. I have posted prev about the slide bowing an 1”1/2” out and it still continues to leak. After the last visit I decided to take matters into my own hands, being a retired carpenter I owed it to my wife myself and our girl(georgetown) to correct this issue. The last service wanted a blank check starting @ $3500.00 I said heck no. So here’s where I stand at this point going to a local service who specializes in crash paint and structural repairs. Going tomorrow will keep y’all posted. Loving our new home in florida by the way all the furnitures being replaced because it all peaked apart. WOW!
Doesn't surprise me that the leak was there from day 1.
Come to Arizona and it doesn't rain here but 3 days a year.
So they removed the whole slide. hummm.
At least you found someone to really fix the damaged interior walls.

Good luck and enjoy your next camping season.

After contacting FR they are not willing any assistance. Bad customer service and crappy dealers good luck if you bought one

Glad to know the FR really stands behing their product. Looking for a new RV, will be looking elsewhere. It is apparent that their build quality and customer service is lacking

I see we have the same coach. Was your windshield sealed correctly? Ours never was along with all the other windows. Best I could say is do your homework good luck and keep her between the mustard and the mayo[emoji857]

Glad to see you finally have your RV repaired. I purchased mine really not researching the company fully. I went to the Hershey show and looked at some of FR new models.
At first look the RV was great, then after a closer look the fit, finish, and product choices were extremely poor.

We bought ours at the Hershey show in 2013 a year ahead this year we went to the Tampa show. The dealers here represent themselves not an assigned manufacture to a dealer big difference no pressure sales it was the best show yet
