What is that switch?
Hi
I just acquired a 2007 Geortetown 338.
I link a picture of it.
On the left side of the dash there is a switch that I have no clue.
It' the left one but shown below as the picture is rotated 90 degrees left sorry... not the battery boost.
It's not a battery disconnect as this one in near the door.
Thanks for your help.

Likely your heated mirror switch for the side mirrors.

And the one with the battery is a momentary switch to connect your house batteries that may be good to a dead engine battery.
It is not a disconnect but connect both battery system together so you can start your engine.

We have a 3051s and that battery switch is under the drivers seat. The way I understand it is if your starting battery is dead you hold that switch down and if your house batteries are good you should be able to start your motor?
Thanks

Battery switch works both ways?
As seen in the OP picture.....
Tha battery symbol switch is a momentary switch to connect the engine battery and house batteries while this switch is activated (what Iggy said)
Not only does it help your engine battery from the house batteries, but it also helps the house batteries from the engine battery while this switch is activated.
IT ACTS LIKE FACTORY INSTALLED JUMPER CABLES. 👍
Just before replacing my engine battery (in it’s 9th year), I used this momentary switch to boost the engine battery to start the engine, one last time.
Recently, I used this momentary switch to boost the house batteries from the engine battery to start the generator while dry camping.
Hoping that helps.

Philkaty.....
This is a Georgetown forum, and your switch location could confuse other readers because of your rig being a Forester 3051. The switch location varies amongst Georgetown owners, but it is always located on the dash somewhere.
Your operational description is correct however.

Thank you very much for your replies. Really appeeciated.
May I abuse and now ask for the 2 on the left on that new picture?
This is the switch set on the right side.
These are not switches for driving lights as the control is on the left side.
I resolved the fan and the radio on the right. The middle one is for the reading map lamps. But the second from the left won't stay on (a spring put it back in position) and I've not seen a thing lighting trying it. I think I didn't look at the good place.
Thanks again.

It may be the ICC flash switch. Turn on your headlights and then have someone watch the clearance lights as you press and release the switch.

Yeah....I agree it’s probably your ICC switch (meaning it flashes your clearance lights.....for communication to passing trucks) even though I don’t know what ICC stands for. Can’t say as I’m impressed where they positioned it on your dashboard.......I’ll bet it’s a helluva reach from the driver’s seat given its right near the HVAC controls. (Heat and air controls)
I hate 3 letter acronyms. 4 letter ones too.

ICC - Interstate Commerce Commission. They wrote regulations for truck lighting before the FMVSS came to be. Thus, those are sometimes referred to as “ICC lights” and are flashed to say “thanks” to other drivers for letting you over, etc.

Thank you.
I'll do some testing by night to validate.
