What’s under the carpet?

These pics are of underneath the bed in a Georgetown 31L5. What’s under the carpet in the “box”? It is sitting on the floor. It does not go below the floor into the basement storage.

Thanks in advance.

What’s in this location from the outside of your Georgetown?

Looks like no slide out? Mine has a slide out and under the bottom of the under bed storage is the slide out mechanism.

It is your large pass thru opening, high at the beginning of the opening then lower. Look from storage and you'll see.

I’ll bet it’s all the plumbing coming in from under the floor and going to the bathroom.

My thoughts too. That's how my 329DS looks with the rear passenger side bedroom bed slide out. Love the big exterior storage area.

You are getting some great answers. I have to confess when I first read your title my first thought was "Floor" LOL

Brought the RV home today from storage to get ready for a trip And after running the slide out and taking a bunch of measurements both inside and inside the rear compartment I have determine the “box” under the carpet is the top portion of the rear storage compartment. The top of the compartment is the underside of the carpet/box.

Thanks for everyone’s input and comments.
