75 Gallons is what the F53 Chassis has had for quite some time. We get around 7-1/2 to 8 MPG. When I tow my Grand AM it's closer to 7 to 7-1/4 MPG.

Same as above. Tow an Altima.

I believe the newer F53's are 80 Gal. My 08 model is 75 gal. Usually around 7 mpg towing Honda Accord and running generator. Have gotten almost 9 mpg not towing and no gen.

My 2008 GMC 2500HD Short Bed has a TINY fuel tank of 28 gallons. This gives me about 4 hours of range.

To be honest (while I do carry 10 gallons in the bed of the truck for not being able to find a diesel station that is 5th wheel friendly - it happens), that is plenty since I have a 2.5 hour bladder.

Our 2008 Georgetown XL 378 has a 80 gal tank and we get 7-8 mpg on it. We still have our 2005 GMC (FOR SALE) loaded and towing 13000 lbs of Montana 5th wheel, we used to get 14mpg. Without towing, the durmax get 20mpg.

I just fueled our 07 up in order to take advantage of the ""low"" prices. I didn't worry about tank size I was just trying to slow down the spin of the pump dial. The guy at the other side of the island staunchly refused to trade receipts with me.

According to the F53 website, the 2011 chassis (First built in 01/01/2010, the 2010 model year was skipped), the F53 has an 80 gallon tank. If you go to their website, there are other changes made for the 2011 chassis. The way to tell the difference visually, is the new, large V-10 badge on the side of the coach.

Either 75 or 80 gallons depending on the year of the chassis. You can plug your VIN # into the Ford website to determine the year of the chassis and then pull up the related Ford build docs for your chassis.

Keep in mind that the chassis year and the RV year are likely different.
