Lightbulb Where to stash the sewer hose...?

First off: Yes, I searched the other forums here and read a zillion posts about the "fence post" mods and such. But none of them worked for me - most all were on trailers, and bumper mounted, etc. yuck.

So, I'm curious to learn/see what us Class A Georgetown motorhome owners have done for storing the sewer hose. Rather than coiled up in a bin, I'm looking for ideas for possibly stashing it under the rig - able to be easily accessed but not easily seen/noticed.

Thanks in advance!

DJ

OK, Sorry. reread your post. Maybe that idea wont work?
There is a new pump system that attaches directly to your tank(s) outlet and munches up the product and then through a smaller hose pumps it to the sewer dump in the ground. I believe it gets power from a 120V plug on the side of your rig.
You would probably still have to deal with it coiled up in a bin when stored.

You can use a fence post and store it in one of your numerous compartments.

I put mine in a 5 gallon Home Depot pail and put in in the smaller compartment near the water and sewer hookups. Just fits.

When I'm done flushing the black tank, I merely close off the black tank valve and turn the knob on my camco dual flush valve to hose. Run that for 5 minutes and never have to worry about coiling the now clean hose into the bin.

I dont have Class A, but i dont have a bumper on my camper either (toy hauler). i bought a 5x5 fence post that i painted black to match the underside of the camper. held in place with plumbing strapping. use a plastic gutter section inside the 5x5 fence post so you can slide your sewer hoses in and out with ease. a bungee cord through an I bolt on the post cap keeps it nice and secure.

I used this same concept on my 2016 364ts. Put both of them inside front drivers side compartment above propane tank. Has work out great since day 1.
Out of site, out of mind. No mess ,no fuss. Hope that helps

Great idea, much better than my 100mm (4") PVC pipe.

Sewer hose holder

I bought a Valterra round sewer hose holder (pipe) from Camping World. I secured it under my Class C Sunseeker near the back, adjacent to the mor/ryde stabilizer jacks. I used Stainless zip ties.
I had to space it a bit on the side so it cleared underneath. Works great, and it even fits the ground adapter which I put in a zip lock before stowing. I had tried the fence post thing which I used on a prior TT, but it was too small for this application. Good luck!

If you're doing something like this you might consider replacing the wood blocks with PVC/ABS. It's worked with wood tools but, being plastic, is impervious to water.

I installed a Valterra sewer hose carrier under our TT and love it! Unlike RV bumpers, these carriers are large enough in dia. for hoses to easily side in/out plus they will never rust. They are available in a few versions depending on where/how you want to mount it. Recommended!!
