who manufactered georgetown slideouts
Hi,
I have a 2011 forest river georgetown 280DS motorhome.
I need to find out the manufacture of the slideouts, so I can learn how to manually retract slideouts. I did not get a book on that.
Thank you

There are plenty of You Tube videos out there. Look at a few and you'll probably find yours.

Lippert slideout
Thanks so much for the info.
The slideouts for the 2011 280DS Georgetown Motorhome are electric
So, Lippert did make them?

Two virtual duplicate threads in Welcome Mat were merged into a single thread in the Georgetown sub-forum because... well, you know.

Well, if they are electric I don't know who made them. What I posted is for hydraulic slides and levelers by Lippert.

Post a picture of the mechanism and people should be able to tell. Include a pic of what appears to be a rail or maybe a cable on the sides of each slide.

It would be helpful to know where the electric motor is for the slide out. I have done a peripheral look and I have never seen mine on a 270S.

If yours is like our 2010 Georgetown 330TS…..it was hydraulic slides and jacks.
The pump and hydraulic lines were visible from underneath the entrance steps, but other models have it visible from underneath……or inside a cargo box maybe.

Thanks for the Canadian hospitality!
Unfortunately, I have an electric slide on my 270S and the motor is well hidden. Possibly under the slide that is not visible when it is extended or retracted. There is some form of conduit forward behind the driver, but that is for electrical wiring i believe. The actual motor is well hidden. One day, I'll probably call FR.
