Windshield washer spray

My sprayers are mounted on the wiper arm where the blade attaches. They are a button with 4 holes, at 90deg. to each other and not very effective.

Has anyone made a modification that lets them spray upward to help clean the windshield ?

They all spray about the same, but could use a cleaning like you said.

I have some small drills to clean the holes.

I will enlarge the one hole that is pointing up when the wipers are at the end of their first cross sweep. The holes appear to be about .030. I think I will enlarge it to .037.

Maybe this will add washer fluid where needed,
