Winterizing Georgetown 340

I started to winterize this weekend. I completed the Hot Water tank draining and the draining of the fresh water tanks. I looked for a bypass valve for the hot water tank and found under the bathroom sink the tank and a single white bypass valve. I did not see a valve for each of the water lines. When I pumped the rv antifreeze, I noticed I kept losing pressure. I went and reinstalled the anode rod and it seemed to pump better.

However, when I pulled it back out, it looks like I have antifreeze in the hot water tank. My question is will this damage the tank? It is a Suburban heater and I think they have a steel tank vs the aluminum of the Atwood. I will drain the tank and flush it with water but did not want to try to pump anything else through the system.

Thank you,

No the anti-freeze won't hurt the water tank. The purpose of the by pass is with out it you'll be pumping 6 to 10 gallons of expensive pink stuff in the tank where it only needs to be empty.
