American Medical Insurance in Canada

We would appreciate any and all advice on suggested supplemental medical insurance for Americans traveling in Canada.

Of course, we are working with our insurers here, but are there any known issues others have heard of or encountered in their travels to Canada???

Here is a source of info as a place to start. I would think that if you are a member of AAA they could help you out. Single Trip Medical Coverage | BCAA

Thanks! We will look into this... we will also be spending some time in Alberta.

We do have significant travel coverage through our insurers here, but thought it might be a good to have a back-up plan as the deductibles do go up when out of the country.

BTW, Springtime in the Fraser Valley is always a beautiful time of the year! Hope 2012 is a good year for you and yours!

You will want to look at Blue Cross also. We even use it traveling within Canada.
