Fire Danger Ontario Southern Ontario Extreme Risk

This is the worst I have ever seen this. Drought conditions everywhere. We do not need a Forest Fire here this summer we need rain!!
Be Safe and leave the Fireworks at home and no camp fires!

Yesterday afternoon got back from Kingston KOA and I am surprised there is not a fire ban. We had a storm blow through after supper and the sky was a green colour, same look as two years ago when a tornado blew through. The storm was just a drop in the bucket to what is needed.

I am surprised to see only 4 Ontario parks have fire bans. I think my grass would go up with a spark here in Kitchener.

I was surprised as well. We are at Pinery this weekend, had lots of rain and hail. Large enough to crack the vent cover on one vent. At home in new hamburg i hope it rained there last night.

IMO the whole southern ontario needs a good 3 day soaking. Not heavy thunderstorms just a good period of steady light showers.

Went to five islands last week. There was a fire ban in place, the first night I lit a fire. Owner came over pretty concerned until he realized it was a propane unit. Next couple of nights led up to Canada Day and it seemed the ban had disappeared as many campers were burning wood fires.
