Height Restriction in Alberta

I understand there is a height restriction in Alberta of 4 meters which equals just shy of 13 ft and 1.5 in. How strict is this enforced? Is it a real problem? My 5th wheel is 13 ft 2 inches best I can measure.

We mainly stick to the more traveled/major roads in an area when pulling the trailer so not looking to take it into the backwoods. We'll venture off road with just the truck.

Getting ready for our first Alaska trip!!

Fonzie is correct, and as long as you don't hit an overpass - nobody cares and when you're legal in your home state you'll be legal here as a guest. It is usually gas stations and campgrounds that can give you grief. I don't know your travel plans but as long as you're on one of the major highways all the overpasses are clearly labeled and I can't remember a single one that is below 15', most are 18' or more.
B.t.w. there are some really weird numbers floating on the Internet, mainly due to poor metric conversion.
Happy Travels

Thanks. I guess I got bad info. I was testing some RV Plan N Go software that tipped me off saying it was restricted and then I googled and found this website Provincial RV Regulations in Canada that stated Alberta was restricted to 4 meters while remainder of Canada was 4.15m or greater.

Oh, I do watch for the signs and low overhangs!! I just didn't want to get measured crossing the border and told I was a No Go!

Thanks for your help!

Heights

Here is why you watch your height restrictions.
There is one in there with a 5th wheel that peeled his air conditioners off and never even stopped.

11 FOOT 8 — The Canopener Bridge

I pull a good 12 feet with my Sunseeker and watch out also.
