Yes, the Canadian side has the boat ride, not sure about the delay to cross, but you can walk over as well to visit the Canadian side.

We stayed there a couple of times. Pull thru sites. Not sure about 50A sites You would have to ask for a site away from the tracks.
there is a public lot behind Ripley's Believe it or Not that looks large enough to accommodate larger vehicles. its off Clifton hill, a zoo in the summer.

As info

We pay 13 percent tax (hst) on almost everything. If you stay or eat in Niagara Falls Canada most restaurants add a tourist tax to the bill. Ask for this to be taken off. You don't have to pay this.

Interesting, an attempted gouge. On the boat ride, a must do is the Maid of the Mist. They depart from both the US and Canada.

Is this why the people who have the money put it in off shore accounts instead of paying their fair share?
Guess you missed that last government go around where the countries that harbor off shore accounts, like the proverbial Swiss bank account, were pressured and surrendered account holders to the US a couple years ago. Keep it in your mattress!

I've spent the last two summers in Canada. Beautiful country. Last summer went thru Niagara Falls, up to PEI and Nova Scotia. Got a CC without any exchange fees. Reduced the amount of Canadian cash I needed to carry. $1.00 CDN was $0.75 US almost all summer.

Please explain tipping in Canada. I generally left 20%. I'm going back again this summer. Honestly, what is considered standard.

Thanks

Tipping in Canada is totally up to you, generally its 15% or a easy way is to leave the amount of the tax on the bill.( Lived here for 57 years )

We've lived in Canada for 13 years now and always tipped. Usually 15 - 20% of the bill. There is one chain, Earls, (and it may just be in the Calgary area) but they already add their tip to the bill. If you're not careful you end up paying the tip twice.

Try Canpark resort. It's close to the falls and has 50 amp pull through
