I thought my wife was going to burst a blood vessel going over the bridge at Elora Gorge. I could tell she was holding her breath. Going up the other side going in is no joy.

Nice park! I would like to get back there sometime.

Has anyone been to Sibbald Point? We are meeting some friends there in July for a week-end, as it's in the middle for both families.

We have been to Sibbald Point and will not return. Over crowded with day trippers. Limited seclusion.

Yep I agree with another newfie. If you don't want to go to the beach then you will not be bother by the crowds. There is a trailer only section that you want to use.

BTW if you pull into the parking lot to register you will have a hard time making the right turn to get to the gate. I park on the road on the way in and the DW goes to register. The staff are not going to help you make the turn. Its a real idiot design.

We opened Inverhuron last weekend. Left home at 30 degrees C to the park being 5 C, the lake had Ice still on day before we arrived. Left Tuesday May 12 with cold temps.

Sibbald Point is basically an ashtray for the Toronto crowd. Will never go back

I agree Inverhuron is a great park, and yes they did open Holmes Bay this spring. Sites are all nice and big. Love it there. Also check out the little Green store in Tiverton, they sell fudge in there that is awesome. Also I hear that the Kings Pearl Pub in Tiverton serve great fish and chips as well.
