Point Farms Prov. Park anyone?

Just an hour up the road from The Pinery Provincial Park is Point Farms Provincial Park. Specifically the Colborne section for RV units at 30 amp.

Same fantastic Lake Huron sunset views, significantly smaller, and just outside Goderich.

Anyone stayed there? Any inputs good or bad?

Camping was closed for the season, but I was going to do a drive through last fall on my way to Pinery. But not far into the park, there were roadblocks...they were doing some major tree trimming and closed it for safety reasons. Sure looked like it would be worth trying from what I could see!

We drove through there. Very few site capable of a 32 ft trailer with low hanging branches. Our 38 ft Landmark at 13 ft 5 inches tall will not fit. We would not go in there with the Rockwood as backing around trees is tight. A few sites work if you can book in advance. If they are trimming they must be pulling the Ash trees out. They did MacGregor Point 2 years ago, looks like a war zone but lost of room now to get into sites.

The Pinery Riverside 1 is good for just about any railer of MOHO but sites are short designed for 24 ft 1960's trailers. Just tight for longer rigs.
