We have started booking for summer as well. Booked National Parks in New Brunswick and Newfoundland and now waiting for ferry reservations to open up. Next will be provincial campgrounds. Fingers crossed we are successful. Starting to get very excited about our 4 months in the Maritimes.

Sherry , Ferry schedule usually is available last week of January. Newfoundland Prov Park reservations open last week of April. If this is your first trip to Nfld, consider JT Cheeseman, they have a nice walking trail to the beach, the Smokey Cape Trail JT Cheeseman is always out 1st (usually 2 nights) and last when we go in and out via Port Aux Basque.

Newfoundland

I have planned 2 nights at Cheeseman, then up to Rocky Harbour. I missed that site I wanted at Berry Hill so booked a private place. We will have a month in Newfoundland and take the long ferry back. This is my third trip and my husbands second trip to Newfoundland. Amazing place to visit.

Sherry this will be our 9th trip in the last 10 years. What do you have TT or MH.
Ellison is another place we always go, we enjoy going to the Puffin site . North of Gander is Jonathan Pond , it's a private park now but was a Prov years ago .

Wow, 9 trips is amazing. We have a motorhome and will tow a Jeep. This will be our first big trip as we retire this spring (woohoo). The other times we flew to Newfoundland and rented a vehicle. We will go up and take the ferry to Labrador and then work our way back to St Johns.
We thought we might see about taking the ferry from Fortune to St. Pierre but no firm plans yet.
We haven’t been to Ellison so thanks, we will check it out. I will feel better once the ferry is booked.
What do you travel in? We will be travelling mid just to mid August.

Sherry we have a 32' Sunseeker. When you go over to Labador the roads are fine to Red Bay but extremely rough past Red Bay we went about 50km and turned around . Stayed at Pinware Prov park there were lots of black fly If you havent done Westbrook Pond boat tour well worth a stop. If you're going up to St Anthony Pistola Bay Prov Park is good but not service site.
When we go to Twillengate we go up to Crow Head there are good hiking trails
I retired last year and we did a month on the rock
if you want email me I can give you more info . derek.anderson7@outlook.com
