Looking for dog friendly,semi private campground to go and kids have something to do.
A week stay willing to drive about 3 hours from Montreal Canada .

Try Voyageur Provincial Park...less than an hour from Montreal.
Just across the border in Ontario.
Lots of nature related activities...hiking trails, fishing , biking.
Very private sites, in the forest.

Ok, then try Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary...or Long Sault Parkway
Both are part of the St-Lawrence Park Commission in Ingleside on old Highway 2.
This time of year, you get to see the Canada geese with there babies right on your lot.
You also get to see the big boats going down the Seaway to the great Lakes.
+ the bike path leading to Upper Canada Village to the west is so beautiful !
One of my favorites !
Approximately 3 hours from Montreal.
