'06 Lexington Freezer Compartment

We have had our '06 a few weeks, and while getting it set up for our "taste", I've noticed a foul odor in the freezer compartment of our refrigerator. the fridge section is fine, but the freezer is just yucky. Has anyone encountered this before?...I put a container of baking soda in the freezer, but it did not help...

Never had that problem but have read about people putting crumpled up newspaper or deactivated charcoal in to absorb the odor. Make sure you leave both fridge and freezer doors open when you're not using your camper to circulate air. Some fridges have little clips built into the door handles to keep them open, other fridges have something like this:

No Mold Refrigerator Door Holder - Adjust-a-brush PROD402 - Refrigerator Accessories - Camping World
