backup camera-issue

I have a 2011 Lexington 283GTS
When looking at my backup camera the screen is very snowy, cant hardly see anything.
I went to the back and removed the lens from the camera and cleaned everything think it was just dirty, but this did not help,

Any ideals??

Thank You,

Same deal here!

We have an image that is worthless!

Will buy new. Not pleased with Furion.

Hoping for a cheaper solution.

What brand camera? Almost 10 years old so I’d say it’s nearing or past end of life. And, due to age pretty outdated from a tech view.

Quick fix is just determine the brand/size and order a new one through Amazon. If it doesn’t fix the problem send it back.

One thing to keep in mind are the connections, not all products have the same as the OEM. I replaced mine and moved it from the cockpit ceiling to the dashboard. I now have a 7” monitor and a great view of what’s behind me.

Replaced our with a wireless 7 in. monitor for +/- 100$, last year.

Today, some models are available with 3 cameras for about same price.
