Gurgling

Hi, I have a strange noise on our Lexington motorhome.
Only noticed last summer, but possibly there before
So only hear outside, sounds like on Right side, sounds like a brief gurgling sound, a few seconds at most.
Thinking it is rythmic as in a equal amount of time, maybe 1/2 hr between sounds, but maybe longer/shorter.
We sat outside one afternoon to try and pinpoint time and circumstances, but couldn’t narrow down.
Nothing comes to mind as to anything common when it does it, such as shore power, no shore power, propane on/off.
I thought it was from the propane, but I crawled underneath and listened for it and I’m pretty sure it’s not the propane, as the noise didn’t sound like from the tank area.
Not 100% ruled propane out because I can’t find the source. one day I shut everything off, power disconnect, propane off, no shore power and I am pretty sure it did not do that noise.
Any ideas?

You titled your post as “gurgling”.

If that’s the best way to describe the sound, I reference your problem as being from a liquid as opposed to a gas.

Listen for sound with water pump powered on or off, water feed attached or not.

Could be air in or getting into the water heater. Try purging it.

Gurgling is the best way to describe the sound.
Never thought of the hot water tank. It sounds kind of similar to when you change a water bottle on a water cooler, when the new bottle is put on and the air bubbles are bubbling in the bottle only a little longer in duration.
Thought of that yesterday when I was changing a water bottle.
If it were air in the water system, we always have our pump shut off and never hooked to city water connection when at home.
This is where we have noticed the most.
When out camping, It either doesn’t do it or we are busy doing other stuff that we don’t have it.
Having said that I am trying to remember if we heard it anywhere else but home?

The fill house dips and holds water in it between the outside fill and the tank. Any lean/movement will sometime get it to gurgle.
