Newbies with Questions

Hello all, we are new members checking in with what may be endless questions. We just bought a 22' '03 Lexington GTS w/ very low mileage on the truck but a lot of use on the furniture and floors. The appliances, bath and kitchen areas show very little sign of use and that's the root of the problems we're running into, no up keep or maintenance has been done. The seller was an elderly gent who hardly used it during the 2 years he owned it and knew very little about it. So here come the first round of questions:

1. The water filter cartridge and insert are missing. Does anyone know the brand or specific model it would be?

2. Can anyone share their experience with the fridge recall?

3. The plate and grill are missing from the Sharp micro/convection oven. We've found replacements on line but they are pricey. Any suggestions on saving a little on them?

That's it for now, thanks in advance for any help.

First off to FRF. You'll find quite a bit of helpful information. Got a question just ask. Now as for your questions.

1. Go to the link below and check the filters and cartridges. There are two sizes 5" and 10". Most of these type filters especially the 10" type can be purchased at most home stores like Home Depot or Lowes, even WalMart.

2. The refrigerator recall is listed numerous places on the forum, but it's basically a precaution type fix kit. It took about an hour to do at the dealership.

3. As for finding the replacement glass dish for the microwave did you try to Google Manufacturer and Model#? And there's always eBay.

Welcome to the group!!!

Like the man said, try Ebay for the missing plate and grill.
Have you tried contacting the previous owner?? Maybe he has one or both
laying around the garage?

Also suggest you work up a signature line with some details like what
your RV is and maybe what part of the country you live in and some sort of
first name or handle!!

Here's mine--

Get on the Refrig recall ASAP. A trailer burned up this last year at our RV Park, because a gas built up before the refrig tried to restart. In the auto position the refrig will go from elect to gas if the power shuts down and can cause the problem it's looking for gas to restart.
