Roof

Does anyone know for sure the type of roof used for 2006 255GTS.
I thought it was fiber glass but there is a white rough coating. I just purchased used.

Also where are the 12vdc fuses?

We have a 2007 270GTS and we love it. Ours does have a white, rough feeling roof, but it is fiberglass that needs to be sealed once a year or so. And our fuse box is at the end of the bed.
We purchased ours used this year, were Airstreamers for several years and wanted a small motorhome. I think we made the right choice for us. Prior owners didn't use this rig much so we knew we had maintenance to do...reseal roof, small leak in seal of slide, oh...check all the screws in the cabinets! Some of our screws were too small and we needed longer ones...amazing what vibration will do! Take a hose and let it run over the outside storage compartments...most of ours leaked and we opted to have all replaced prior to any of our travel. Check water heater element..ours was corroded and was replaced while in route to Wisconsin! Thought I'd share a few of our "findings".
Hope you enjoy yours as much as we have ours. Have three month trip planned next year. Love the size, easy to go anywhere. Yea...its cozy...two of us plus two lazy labs!
Any questions? Feel free to ask or let us know if you have learned something we may need to know to..
Safe travels.
