Sewer hose storage

I can't believe the factory didn't make enough room for a basic sewer hose and accessories. But in either case, I purchased a SantiTube but because the mounting brackets come fixed it limited where I could install it. I originally wanted to mount it underneath near the Black Water valve.

So I ended up mounting it on the rear bumper and because of the ladder I could only get 59" but that holds the Rhino and the accessories you see in the picture. But its tight, and another inch would be perfect.

The PVC tube is a dull color and I wish it was like a normal PVC tube that looks shiny. If I had to do it over I think I would consider this other company that allows you to make your own. Or ask Santitube to provide additional support brackets.

Looks Great! Seems we are all a bit ANAL in our own sense of wanting things to blend. Could have bought some Krylon Spray Paint for plastics and possibly customized the tubing color to match your Coach.

Still, looks great though.

Hose Storage

My fix may not be for everybody, but I bought a large piece of sheet metal and did a lot of bending and shaping to form a compartment out of the open at the bottom sewer compartment on my 255 GTS. I am able to store my sewer hose where it should be stored now.

We had the same thought, how is a sewer pipe suppose to fit in there? We bought a piece of pvc pipe, a few fittings, paint and clear coat to match the rv and mounted it to the rear bumper. Then we slid a piece of vinyl gutter in it to act as a "slide drawer" to make it easy to clean it as well as get the sewer pipes in and out. Works like a charm!
