I was aware of the fact that I might face that problem someday:
a stuck slide on our Lexington MH.
If the motor is dead, the manufacturer had provided an alternate way of opening or retracting manually the slide by manuvering a
Hex Nut at the gear box.
On our 2012 Lexi the said
Hex Nut for the dining room slide is located under the slide and is accessible via the compartment (basement) door underneath. Fine !
But the
Hex Nut for the room slide is hidden under the bed without any access other than to remove the matress and unscrewing the bedplate if the the slide is stucked "IN". That would be a Eluva Issue for me; also it would for others owning a similar floorplan MH.
