TV Problem

I purchased a new 2008 Lexington 283GTS from the dealer last year.I was assured that the Olevia 323V LCD HDTV had both the NTSC and ATSC tuner. As it turns out it only has the NTSC,so it can't pick up the digital broadcasts.I'm working with the dealer and FR to replace the TV with one that does.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? If FR put this TV in it's 2008 units I would think there would be a lot of upset RV owners.

We had the same problem, Forest River said the 2008 was the last year they did not put it in, and they did not advertise to the dealers that is was. So we are out of luck, since our dealer is out of business and we can't go back on them.

Sorry to hear that you also got stuck with an obsolete TV.I was able to convince FR that in the interest of customer service and their reputation that they should replace the set. They sent me a check for $300,my dealer hadn't expected them to do anything and he was very surprised.I picked up a very nice Samsung on sale at Best Buy,I had to pay a little more but it was worth it.I'm happy

That is surprising. I assumed all LCD tv's would be compatable. Our Cardinal which is a 2008 model though built Mar 07 has a 32" Olevia LCD tv and it picks up stns superbly Digital, HD, etc.
Are you using Concertcrap receiver as your tuner? If so hook antenna directly to TV.

My 2008 Flagstaff V lite has a Venturer 22" LCD HDTV. And the Concertone ZX 600 can be operated independently from the TV. They are also both 12 volt, to allow full operation in the boonies! Randy
