What are these for?

In our 2015 Sunseeker 3010 DS, I found three plastic rods about 1 foot long with rubber caps on each end. They are too long to use as dividers in the overhead compartment where they were found. Does anyone know what these are used for?

Thanks
Wig

I believe they are safety supports that go in the top of the slides when in. Supposedly they prevent the top from tipping out. I have never used mine.

Slide locks if you have to travel with an inoperable slide mechanism.

You can find about 15 threads on the subject.

More like 50 threads, which is why there should be instructions taped on them

novel idea. I just requested that it be added to the new online owners manual.

Stuff like that is extremely helpful for those who rent these units. We have rented Class C's in Alaska and could use more information about what is in them and how to use things.

My Rockwood came with the slide lock rods, with tags attached on a short string , with instructions and the tag is a reminder to remove after travel before putting slide out

Our rods were just placed in pantry...no tags or string attached....dealer did not know what they were for.

Thanks bclemens, I will put them back into RV just incase we have a problem with slide mechanism. Won't use the all the time...we may forget that we have them in...and really make a mess!

TOP? I can't get them up there. I stick them in the sides.
