Do you have any definite plans yet, or will you just make decisions on the fly?

Bob, nothing set in concrete, our first trip for sure will be in April to WA which will be a shopping trip, (boat, fishing, house stuff). In Summer 2/3 weeks on Vancouver Island is possible, if there's a FROG rally North West we will go, and the idea is to winter in Arizona.

Phew, this retirement planning is hard work What are you guys up to?

Yes, retirement planning is tough. Joyce and I don’t have much planned with the fifth wheel yet, but we’ve been busy. In December we took a Caribbean cruise to Central America, in January we spent a week in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and currently we are in the planning stages of a 16 day trip to Italy in May.

The trip to Italy will hopefully knock the following four things off my bucket list; visit Pompeii, visit the Sistine Chapel, receive a blessing from the Pope, and go to the top of the Tower of Pisa. The first three shouldn’t be a problem but getting to the top of the leaning tower might be a challenge as it will require climbing 296 steps to the top.

When we return from Italy I’ll start planning RV trips to Niagara Falls, NY and an early fall trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and to Colorado Springs, CO for Pikes Peak. Hopefully fuel prices won’t get ridiculously high this summer.

Stay safe, and when driving always keep the rubber side down.
