Hello everyone I'm using the mobile app, and when I post in a forum ask a question and I get a response I'm notified by text message and also I receive an email I'm trying to figure out how not to receive an email I just would like to receive the message in text? Thank you in advance Jason

There are several ways to turn off the email notifications. However the text thing is what has me curious. I don't recall seeing that in the app. Are you sure it's not your email program you have set up to text you?

If so, then when you get an email notification from the forum, you would get a text from your email program about the same forum notification.

If you take the apps off your phone will that stop the msg or do have to do something else

If you are getting email notifications, then you have either subscribed to the thread, or have your profile setup to automatically subscribe to any thread you post in.

You can change all of this thru your user cp. You can unsubscribe, change notification parameters, or even select not to receive notifications.

I have the same problem. The message system works well enough. I don't want the email too.
Did you resolve this yet and if so how?

O.K. I think I got it.
Go to the desktop computer version of the website.
Click on User CP tab.
Click on Edit Options.
Under there about halfway down in the Default Thread Subscription Mode box check No E-mail Notification.

These seems to have worked and I still get the daily notification.
