Bombarded with E-Mails

Help! Please! How can I turn off getting e-mails for every post and every response from this forum. It's really crazy. I need clear simple step-by-step instructions. I currently sit at over 1500 e-mails down from over 3000. Granted, not all from FRF, but plenty are over the past year.

Bodz, I see you are already set to auto subscribe without notification so not sure why you are getting email notices to subscribed threads.

Here's a direct link to the edit options.

Here's more detail. The way to check this and edit your options is ...

• Go to UserCP (in green menu bar above)
• Find Settings and Options (on the left side of your screen)
• Find Edit Options
• Scroll down to Messaging and Notifications
• Edit Default Thread Subscription Mode to "No Email Notification", which will subscribe so you can check threads in the quick links subscriptions but without notification by email or "Do Not Subscribe", which means no subscriptions and no notifications.

Also click off email notices of new PMs.

Thanks, you're right. I was already set to receive no e-mail. So, I set to unsubscribe. Maybe that will help.

You will also need to remove existing subscriptions. Settings changes only impact new subscriptions not ones that already exist. You can manage your existing subscriptions in your user CP as well. Call up the list here: http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ewsubscription
and you will see some options to delete them.
