Camping World and political posts

Your site team is posting this as a friendly reminder that due to the upcoming elections, there may be a tendency to post jokes and other things inferring either directly or indirectly to the candidates and politics in general.

As per our guidelines that all members agreed to when registering:

General discussions of politics, general government policies, weaponry, gun rights and religion are not allowed in ANY areas of the forum. Discussions about current or pending legislation or regulations, weapons and religion that directly pertain to RVing are acceptable but will be closed or removed if they wander off topic or become disruptive.

Although we understand that this is political season, there is really no reason for our community to get involved in what has historically shown to be very personal and extremely divisive politics.

As such, and as what occurs every 4 years, the site team will be on the outlook for flashpoint political posts.... that although may seem innocent enough (or even a joke) to one, may be the start of something to another. They will be deleted.

The best thing for our community as a whole here, is to vote to go camping....and leave the political talk for somewhere else.

The CEO of Camping World has made some recent comments that have upset some RV'ers, and been a subject of several threads here on our forums. His comments as well as the threads concerning them, are considered political.... and are going to be against the guidelines we have on political posts. (see post #1 for the site guidelines)

Let's keep this forum a friendly place and leave the politics out.

The site team has closed these political threads, as they are always a catalyst for many site guideline violations. We are going to nip this in the bud. We have closed several threads concerning this matter, and will delete any further posts/threads referring (or inferring) to it.

Thank You for understanding, and keeping our forums friendly.

Bumping this thread with a title change, since we are still having political posts/threads popping up. As stated, we will delete these political posts concerning camping world as the site team becomes aware of them.

Bumping this thread since political season is among us again. Please do NOT post your political opinions on these forums. They are argumentative, divisive, and have no place here.

The site team will delete these type posts with no explanation, when we see them.

Just a reminder, as we are seeing political postings against the site guidelines, which really have no place on our forums......the site team will delete them on site, with no further explanation. Please leave that stuff off the forums.
