"Checking your browser" when clicking a thread
Is this new for the site, or something wrong with my phone? I'm using Chrome on an android phone, and I get some Cloudfare message along those lines. Seems to have started today....

Cloudfare is a an added layer of protection for websites that helps eliminate spam bots and malware. It should only occur once when you open the site.

I haven't closed my browser all day, and I've seen the message at least 4 or 5 times today. Seems to be when I first start browsing again after some time of inactivity.

Agree. I've only seen it on the FRF site.
I hope the mods get rid of it. There is enough "data mining" without a new "drill".

Happened to me more times than I can count today while using Microsoft Edge. If I minimize the FRF for a while, I receive the message again when I restore to full screen

We use cloudflare's security service to verify site views from North America and thwart bots hitting the site which may bog down the server. We've seen unusual overseas traffic and the server has been groaning under the load, hence the check... sorry about the check but when the unwanted traffic slows down we'll disable it.

When you report it please also report that it’s NOT ok to load my computer, tablet, cellphone and laptop with videos that open themselves. I don’t appreciate the website trying to shove the camper report videos and their ads down my throat.
Maybe the servers wouldn’t bog down if the website limited the outrageous number of google ads on every page of every thread.
