Commented Thanks
Thanks to the generosity of some of you, I've observed that it is possible to place comments on the "Thanks" that can be given for a post.
I have looked high and low and haven't been able to figure out how to add comments in a Thanks. Could someone enlighten me (and other FRF members)? Thanks.

Barry - are you using the mobile app by any chance? If so, you are out of luck. This is a browser-only feature.

Barry, are you doing this from the phone app. On the computer (firefox browser) when you hit the thanks button, there is a comment line that pops up, where you type this in.

On the FRF app, I didn't think it was possible to do "thanks" at all. I usually click on the header to go to the embedded browser and then do it that way. But even that- on my phone, I get prompted for comments in the "thanks".

Agreed, no Thanks in the App. Are you Android or iOS? I get no comment window in the embedded browser on iOS.

Long press on the thanks button then "open" thanks window in a "new" window 
Android.

Ok, well something is seriously wrong then. I'm on the latest iOS version and the App is at version 1.6.2 (latest). I never get the window, even after a long hold.
In Safari there is no Thanks button (like App).
In the Dolphin browser, I can get what Turbs describes about half the time.
Makes me sad to know that none of the Thanks I've sent have ever actually been sent.
BTW Turbs, I love your new Signature!
Anyway, I know what to look for now. Thanks all!

on my ipad w/ safari the thanks button shows and it pops up with the ability to comment. the button should be right next to the quote button.

Yep, works right on my Mac as well. But Mac Safari has Flash, and iPhone Safari doesn't, so there are probably other significant differences as well.
I thought the iPad Safari was like iPhone, so I'm surprised about that one. (No iPad here to try however.)

Barry, Are you using the Forest River App or are you using the full web site? On your iPad open Safari. Goto Forest River Forums - Forest River Owners Community This will take you to the full web site.
The app, that you downloaded from the app store is limited. The app is great for browsing and replying to posts but does have some limitations.
On my iPad if I go to the full web site I get the thanks button. If I use the app, no thanks button..
