Email notification for QUOTE only?

I am fairly forum savvy but am unable to find the option on this one. Before, I was getting an email when someone quoted me in a thread. Now, I do not get any notification that I have been quoted. I would like to so that I can be sure I see any follow up questions, ideas or ridicule to something I have said. Anyone know how to get just quote notifications (as opposed to a notification of every reply like a subscribed thread)?

Provided you have elected to receive e-mail notices of updates to subscribed threads you should be getting mail.

if you are already subscribed and not getting mail, changes are good that you've inadvertently marked something as spam and those e-mails are going to a junk folder. Another possibility is that your provider has decided to filter these e-mails "in your best interest". Please start with your settings and make sure you have them set up as desired and then take a look at your e-mail filters.

Thanks for the reply Janet. I get email from a subscribed thread but not when I am quoted in a thread that I am not subscribed to. So if someone quotes me in a thread I have not subscribed to I will not know.
I could be wrong, but I thought at one time I was receiving email for quoted posts only. I know other forums I am on I will get an email when I am quoted but I do not have to be subscribed.

This board doesn't send e-mail specifically when you are quoted. We send e-mail when you have subscribed to a topic and there is an update to the topic. We also send out a weekly newsletter.

Are you using one of the apps or the full web version?

I can easily show you how to see who quotes your posts in the apps.

Tap on the bell icon if you have it set to show. Then you can see who has quoted you like below in the screenshot.

In the apps, you can also go into settings, then push notifications, then select to be notified when someone quotes your posts.
