Every post tries to post twice

"This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 15 seconds." is what I get every time I try to post a message the past couple of days.

It's not my PC -- I tried a couple and the forum software thinks I'm double-posting every time.

I thought it was just me. Obviously, the forum has a problem.

And it takes "forever" for the error to appear while I just sit here waiting.

Me too, but then it switched to "Sorry, you have been blocked!" and won't post at all.

Looks like some software developer rolled some "innocuous change" into Production without testing first. Unfortunately, happens all too often.

Or it might just relate to the Chrome update I installed yesterday. Who else is using Chrome?

Chrome and Windows 11 here.

Guessing it may be a network/server issue.

Well, this is getting annoying.
When I try to post the first time, nothing happens. When I click a second time, I get the 'warning', but the post posts.
Now we're getting double posts as answers and comments on other posts.
Really annoying having to read the same post twice.

Did you happen to see the post before yours?

Ok - I think we've found the issue. it appears to be related to tapatalk (app). Until it's been resolved push notification to tapatalk users have been suspended.

I think it's stopped the double post now. (We'll see...)

I wondered if Mr. Dan was referring to the 'cold turkey' part of the previous post.

Sir, yes sir - but I liked the previous one about wondering where folks who asked you for directions actually end up, better. I will keep watching, no matter what you come up with, 'cause you keep coming up with it.
