Did you bring enough for everyone?
I completely understand your request. There are several ways of organizing forum information and we had to choose...
Here are some choices: - organize by brand
- organize model
- organize by type (motorhome, 5ver)
- organize by tech topic (sections for electrical, towing, etc
Interesting surfing habits: - We have found that some folks only want to discuss their own brand or model despite the fact that many issues and components are shared across platforms.
- Some folks only want to discuss their type of rig but aren't concerned much about models or brands
- Some folks only want to read posts about their specific issue (like hitching or electrical concerns)
We have chosen a hybrid forum structure and it can be confusing but it seems to work for the greatest number of folks.
It's worth noting that the category > Forum > subforums Structure that we have can be tough to view on mobile but here's a link to the full site index: http://www.forestriverforums.com/forums/sitemap/
It may help...
It's not a perfect solution and we're always open to improvement. Here's a link to the truck camper section: Tent Campers | A Frames | Truck Campers - Forest River Forums

So Janet H,
Can you just show me where in the MAIN FORUM Class A, Class B, and Class C are shown?
As that is all I'm asking about, Sorry but MH or MotorHome just is not working for me.
This is as simple as I can make the request.
Nothing to do with any of the following.
Truck Campers
Advance Search
or 5th Wheels, Trailers.
Thanks hope you get this.

Those classifications are not included in the current forum structure.
Motorhomes are broken down by Brand and model. I'm not saying this is optimal, but it's what we currently have.
In the coming year we will be moving to a new forum software platform and that might be a good time to consider your suggestion or perhaps some alternatives.

If we start dividing the forums up by model AND type it would just make things way too cluttered. As of this moment, I don't see a need for it either. As long as people put what they have either in their post, profile or signature we can figure it out.
|
I think a signature with brand and model # should be mandatory to sign up. That would be very helpful.

OP, just because most members are satisfied with the current structure, doesn’t mean you weren’t understood. They understood you, but rejected your proposal. I think Jane gave you a very adequate response.
I’m fairly new on here, but find this forum easy to navigate. I don’t have an RV yet. When I do I’ll put it in my sig, so people know what Class I own.
