Ok, Ok, you got me! What really happened was the dog got a hold of the check and ate it. I followed him around awhile, but when it came back out it wouldn't fit in the envelope.

You might have to smooze someone in the back room. You know the "secret"
War department room.
Normally at defcon 4.

Hi Len,
A little bit more information please. Are you in the new "Files" section and, if so, did you get that when you hit the blue download button for a manual (which should work)? Or, was it the "Thread Discussion" link that sometimes appears there?

Actually, we don't want the check at that point.

I downloaded a couple of files with no problems. The only issue was, if you try to download too many, it tells you to slow down. It really does.

I actually followed a link to that section that you posted. It's actually called the "Download" section. I went to "Towing, Hitching & Leveling", then to the "Reese Dual Cam" thread. Once in there I hit the blue download button and received the error. I just tried it again with the same results.

Thanks.

Funny thing is, if I go to the main Forest River page that shows all sections, I don't see "Downloads" anywhere. Only by following the link you posted.

EDIT: OK, I see the "Files" section in the menu bar, but if I follow that path I still get the same message error.

There is something with that particular Reese file that is prohibiting downloads, perhaps a permission issue. other files in the library download fine but this particular one does not for me either.

Yep, I just went back and tried a different file and it worked. Only the one that I wanted wouldn't work (story of my life ).

Isn't that always the way it works? Sorry about that. I think I fixed it so try it now Len. It was originally uploaded as a link so I re-uploaded as a file.

Anyway, it should work for you now.

Thanks for letting us know.

if at all possible, i'd suggest users upload files to the file section rather than posting links to files hosted elsewhere - companies update their websites all the time and don't always do a good job of mapping the old file URLs to the new site or the houseclean and remove permanently files for products they may have discontinued. by uploading the file itself we'll only be at the mercy of this place rather than a hundred other websites...

I'll upload the other two reeese dual cam docs from above when i get the chance unless someone else beats me to it.
