Hide a thread entirely?

Say there's a garbage thread that annoys me and I don't want to see it at all. Is there an "Ignore" option for threads anywhere that I'm not finding?

Thanks.

Sorry but I'm not aware of that option for threads.

There is an "ignore members" option but that would include all threads started by that member.

User CP.

On the far left is a list of options, the top box fifth line down it says "edit Ignore List" add the members name.

Thanks Terry and Ford. Rarely do I want to hide a member entirely, but some threads just make me shake my head.

Maybe you can get the OP to request the title of the thread be changed?

I seem to remember another thread on here that went off on a particular mfg and the OP later had the title changed to reflect an update...

You can unsubscribe from a thread so you don't get updates on it and choose not you can choose not to open the thread any more. Or you can convince a mod that a thread has played itself out and see if it can be closed.

LOL! No Sir! You did have the mods change the title to reflect your clearer thinking...

Nah, it wasn't clearer thinking- it was "proper" handling by Sabre. Unless you're thinking of the Mad Momma/Mad Daddy thread.

Plus, I was a mod then- I could change thread titles willy-nilly.

No, it was the Sabre thread. That one was EPIC! So glad that things worked out for you in the end on that.

Yanno what? I totally agree with ya. Wouldn't it be absolute utopia if any and every thing we don't like we could just make disappear?

Unfortunately utopia is a mythical place.

In all my years of being online, *never* have I put any one on ignore. That leaves no room for two people with differences to eventually discover common ground.

I am so disgusted with some of the comments in that thread that I can not in good faith decide what we should do with it.

Would this be a bad time to bring up the "like" button.

In all fairness the thread in question has no more value.

With that being said I can take on my "troll" status and get it closed!
