Hi, I’m new to the forum game and have no idea how to ask a question so sorry if this is not the right process. I signed up as ‘lmparthe’ but want to change my user name to ‘Lonnyp’. How do I do that?

Hi I just registered and made a typing mistake in my username, it should be: Peter Finurke not Peter zfinurke.

So you want it Peter Finurke.... with a space between first and last name and the last name with a capital F?

EDIT: that's how I did it unless you tell me otherwise. When I went to change it, I see you are a fellow Louisianamite. Welcome aboard.

Appears I can certainly ask you to change my user name but I am so frustrated with trying to do it that now I don't want to give up; please tell me steps to follow.

Read several of the above posts in this thread. The step to follow is to state what you want you user name to be and if there are no conflicts, a site Administrator will make the change.

This is the only step you can take, which is to contact a site team member either thru this thread or directly.

You cannot change your username yourself.

And this has nothing to do with the fact that my username on several other forums is LSUfan.

BTW, not that we hold a grudge..... but William Tecumseh Sherman and Nick Saban are curse words in LSU lore....being traitors and all.

Funny, but all of that unfortunately did not do you much good last Sat; and I was pulling hard for LSU--primarily because we play them and not Fla; strength of schedule you know

Click on User CP at the top of the full site page.
Click Edit Your Details.

Then see
Email & Password Please click the button below to edit your email address and password. Any changes you've made on this page will not be saved.

You might look at that User CP list to see what you can and cannot change.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, I never have to use password because I guess your system automatically recognizes my computer, so bottom line is I don't know old password and directions u sent require old password.

what web browser are you using to view this site (firefox, safari, chrome, internet explorer/edge, etc)?

No that's fine. I am just wanting to know in order to show you that you may have a saved log-in via your web browser. If so, you can access the password from it. Clcik on this link, then scroll down and follow the directions after the "Edit or delete logins from windows credentials manager"

All you are are wanting to do, is to view your password for forestriverforums.com

You will not change or edit anything there, but just get your password.
