It's odd that some folks aren't having problems.

I'd post a pic of my "upload failed" message of 45 seconds ago... but I can't post a pic with Tapatalk app.

'It's an intermittent problem for me. Sometimes, it works, sometimes it fails.

The tech team is aware of it, and is working on it. Sometimes, it's not as easy as it sounds to fix things like this.

Just like this one. I tried to upload it and it failed. Went right back 10 seconds later and it uploaded.

I did a little research. Social Knowledge Networks is the owner of this and several other forums... such as, the one for Airstream owners, IRV2.com IRV reviews, and others. There members are having the same trouble. On the airstream forum, apparently, some members pay. A member got, "upload of file failed, quota exceeded". Gut feeling they did an upgrade and caused, universally, a quota for either posts, or photos, or whatever, which was applied to all the forums; even the ones that are totally free.

Their site team did go in and tell the OP that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. Our site team must be on vacation (can't blame them, really)

Maybe if someone could go in and delete my old attachments, that might help. I see them, but have no access to delete.

That's an odd statement. Not sure what to make of it, really. I am assuming you must have just not really read my second sentence/paragraph in the post before this one, and right before yours.

Also if you access the site thru the full web version and not a mobile app, this exact same information is displayed at the bottom of every page there.

If I remember right, this happened once before, and I don't know how they fixed it but they did. THere is alot of total members, before it use to list the people on line. People's pictures will post if you wait awhile and keep trying. I know nothing about the tap talk problem, but on the computer I just think it could get over loaded and time out. It's not hard to overload a server. For me a picture is harder to load then a written document for some reason. I'm sure the IT side will find the solution as they did before....

WT, Not sure why it is an odd statement... but, I didn't realize you were a Site Team member; when you "spoke" in the third person; rather than saying "we are working on it". My confusion. I see the information at the bottom of the page, but there is so much stuff on a web page, I usually ignore most of it.

Is the site team going to let us know when its fixed?

Thanks,
WW

When the technical team informs us of any solutions, the site team will pass the information along.

Folks we are still looking at this issue. It doesn't affect every one and it's been tough to isolate the problem. Thanks for your patience.

Again for those having this issue please post up info about the circumstances under which you experienced it.

What device were you using?
What operating system?
Where you using a mobile app?
Is it the most current version?
What error message did you get?

Hi Janet,
I have more information: I can update my avatar and I can upload photos into my album, but not when trying to within a new post or when replying to an old post in any forum.

As I have already sent: I cannot post a picture on a PC one Windows 10 the other Windows 8.2 using Chrome, Firefox or IE; as well as I cannot upload via Alcatel Android using the FRF app.
Thanks,

Please note, just if you have a 3MB download speed from your ISP that only tells us half the story. What we really need to know is your max UPLOAD speed, since you are uploading files to us.

I have upped the amount of time the server will wait for your images to upload by a factor of 10 to see if the problem is that your uploads are timing out.

Please test again.

I clicked on the send button and 3 seconds later a pop up came up and said "upload failed"
I clicked send again and it went right through.

I'll try again and see if I can screen shot it.
