IMG urls from Dropbox, they don’t seem to work?

Sample IMG URL:

Same image url as a straight url:

Is this a Dropbox issue?

No. It is an issue with the URL. Get rid of the the "=" and it will work.

I’m going to post this and take a screen shot so others can see what I’m doing and the then the output on the forum.

Image URL:

Regular URL: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p3enyi61q1...0jack.jpg?dl=0

(The results are the same with either http or https. The above = on the initial post was an error on my part.)

The regular URL works fine. I guess I don't understand the issue.

Yeah, I also don't see a problem other than the =.
I tried this one

and it worked fine.
Note I removed the = and www and .(dot)

www has not been needed for years.

The issue is that I'm using the little 'Insert Image' formatting tool when creating a post. The Dropbox share picture code is inserted into the post, which should result in a picture showing up in the post.

It doesn't.

I put the link URL, using the 'Insert Link' formatting tool in this post (other than my typo from working too late) so that it could be validated that the URL is good, ie not restricted by permissions.

The failure is:

when I use the 'Insert Image' http ://my picture link from dropbox it does not insert a picture in the post.

when I use the 'Insert Image' http ://my picture link from forums album it does insert a picture in the post.

(It's hard to describe all this, if I actually use the CODE as an example, nothing happens. Hence the above screen shot)

I know what you are saying. If you right click the pic in dropbox and select "open image in a new tab" then copy/paste *that* URL in it should work.
