Member designations

Sign in names, below each there is a, Member, Junior member or Senior member, where do these designations come from and who assigns such.Just curious.

The default is usually something like "new member" which, after a set number of posts is upgraded by the software to "full member" or something similar. These things simply reflect how many posts a person has made. They're really meaningless. In fact, you can change it to anything you like in your profile, as I have done.

The user titles default to one of three:

• Junior Member is less than 30 posts
• Member is 30-99 posts
• Senior Member is 100 or more posts

You can also change the default titles to one of your own choosing in your User CP/edit your details page.
