Need Help... How to Initate New Thread

Guys..I'm sorry to post on this thread but I have contacted the forum managers, and not getting what I am looking for. I want to know how I post questions on this forum, and I am being told to go to the forum page which I do. The question is where on this page do you post questions. I am missing this how to.

tanmaninspain, how did you contact forum managers?

Your Welcome PM should have a link to our standard "How-to" thread. That PM should have a line on the order of "Forums 101 for our basic posting standards. These will help you to settle in."

Click on the Forums 101 hot link in the paragraph above. You have to be on the page of the specific forum/sub-forum where you want to initiate a new thread and then you click the button toward the top left (assuming you're using the full site).

I'm moving your post and replies to the Forum Admin section.

Dan

Do you mind telling us what kind of RV you have so we can answer where you need to go?
Go to this list and look down it... see if you can find your RV brand ==> Forest River Forums - Forest River Owners Community.

From the home page scroll down to the type or RV you have or the appliance category you are asking about. Click on that and it will take you to that section of the forum. About 3/4of the way up the page on left you will see a large "New Thread" button click it. In the title describe your issue in a few (4-5) words. "I have a question" will likely result in members overlooking the post. If you have not already done so, go to the UserCP and on the left hand side of the page, click signature, Add the details about your RV, Make, Model Year and tow Vehicle. This will insure you get answers appropriate to your issue.

And of course all this above, assumes you are using a computer and not the mobile app.

The directions for posting a new thread on the mobile app are somewhat different.

New owner of 2018 FR 3011 DS. Issues so far. What are the metal V grooves that come off the number called. My dealer and service at FR doesn't know. When I drive into my home these v notches come in contact with the asphalt. My salesman says get skid wheels installed ..his boss says that will void the warranty. This service manager tells me yes and the worker bee says no. Mixed messages from Campers Inn.

Next question. Any compost toilet people out there? Pro and cons?

And final question for day. Generator vs portable solar. I think one only gives just enough juice to RV. While generator is big power? Best ones in your experiences?Thank you.
