Droid survivor

As a parent paying for 3 phones, issues with droids was expensive. Switched to iPhones, no problems. Plus I can attest to the Find iPhone app. A phone stolen magically appeared at a different high school after a call to the homeowner where the phone was tracked to.

Sincerely,
Loyal iPhone and iPad User

New forum

Awful "upgrade". Feels like we updated to 1998 DOS.

One very irritating thing with the new app is that you can't leave a reply while you look something up and come back to it. When you leave the app and come back it erases the reply...

SO that is not so good.

I not very Geekie , my daughter and wife had I phones , I pads , mini I pads ...
I bought the I phone 4s , use it on the job construction . Very tuff phone

What I understand is there are 2 systems
Apple. IOS
Droid

Samsung brought out the droid , all other companies use that
Samsung stole or copied the touch face and Apple sued , won ... Samsung paid in nickels

I will look at the new Samsung 5 , for bigger screen and longer battery life

One of the younger guys that works with me bought the I phone 5 when it came out , took it back and got the Samsung 4
Told me the I phone was for " old people " ...lol

It's actually Android... Droid is a type of phone that runs the Android software.

Kids these days are leaning towards the Samsung. I tried it... But it's a little harder to use than the iPhones... And are bigger... Some are so big, there's no way to carry it around all day... Almost a small tablet. For size, speed and functionality, iPhone still rules. And they link very easily between the iPhone and iPad.

I'm on an iPhone so might be different than the pic below but maybe it will help. See the Quick reply box at the bottom- do you have that? If not, you should be able to turn it on under Settings.

Also. The three dots in the upper right will give you a drop down box with Reply as an option.

Also, a quick tap to a post allows you to quote that post.
