New member registration

My sister is trying to register as a new member. She enters username,email,password and repeats password. She then enters go gets the wheel and it says invalid birthday. What gives?

Maybe spaces or lack of in text?

Sometimes the year numbers gets transposed. Like instead of 1951, it's typed 1591.

Sorry to highjack this thread but I am trying to post another thread and I can't. On the upper left hand corner of the category I want to post will not show up. Am I missing anything. Only thing I can do is comment on my last post or highjack (like now) on a post. For the "Posting Rules" down in the left hand corner it states I can post new threads. BUT when I try to start a new one "Posting Rules" states I cannot plus other items listed.

Not really sure where/what you are attempting...and if you are talking about adding a post to a thread (emboldened in red) or starting a thread itself (emboldened in blue)

Now it may be worth noting that subforum like the "Forest River FAQ" are closed to new threads.... and states such in it's title/description:

FAQs and links to discussions covering the most common topics for Forest River RV owners. This section is closed to new posts to preserve the information.

Also if a thread is closed, you cannot add new posts to it.
