Newsletter Pop Up is getting REALLY ANNOYING!

I’m logged in, I already receive the newsletter and this pop up has gotten steadily worse/more frequent as of late. I can’t even read the darn threads with this nuisance showing up every few seconds.

Please... MAKE IT STOP!

Can you screenshot this popup, and post it here.

Also have you set your browser to not accept any 'cookies"? Sometimes this can be a problem, as the cookie is what tells the website to not show the popup after you close it.

You can also sometimes have a bad cookie that you may need to clear out.

Thanks for the response. I have my browser set to not accept 3rd party cookies. Have always had it set this way. Should note that I access the forum from my iPad Pro using most current version of iOS.

Will screenshot next time it happens. Perhaps even do a screen recording so the frequency can be shown.

Okay, per that other thread, I found and toggled the newsletter pop-up option to the, “OFF” setting and saved the changes. Will see how it goes.

I also have that problem when viewing with my iPad. The message about signing up for the newsletter pops up every few seconds. It only happens once on a Windows device, so I think it must be iOS related.

I'd be happy to turn it off too. Where did you find pop-up option setting?

Oh yeah, I’ve used Ghostery and NoScript together on my PC Firefox browser for several years. That PC isn’t connected to internet anymore. Not sure if there is a Ghostery offering for Safari on iOS though. I do pretty much everything on my tablet these days. But I will say, haven’t had the pop up again since I toggled it to off in my profile settings. Had no idea I could do that.
