Nuisance Popups
Hi,
Is anyone else receiving nuisance "Lucky Winner" pop-ups that are making it harder to navigate this site?
I have my android's browser set for no pop-ups, but they still seem to be infesting this site, as it's the only one where this is happening. And it has only begun to happen in the last couple of weeks.
Thanks for any thoughts you might have.

You need to get ad blocker. Also scan your computer for a virus. I'm betting you will see these on any website not just here.

Avast says I'm clean, Adblocker is active, and it only happens on this forum.

Same thing happens to me. Only on my phone and only on this site. Goes in spells. Some days I can't even use this site. Other days it is fine.

Get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from download.cnet.com, install the free version, it usually works.

OP is talking about his smart phone, Malwarebytes from cnet will not work for him.

maybe download and try a different browser on your android, just to see what happens

Hi rsdata,
Switched to Firefox, and so far no pop-ups. Will stick with it today and see if it stays solid.
But everything else I do is on Chrome, so I'd like to solve it. nyone know what setting in Chrome might make a difference?

I have adblock plus on firefox on my desktop PC and it blocks nearly
everything.
I don't have anything on my Kindle Fire HDX and yes I get those %$#@!\
full screen pop-ups that say I've won something and there is no little
X to click to close them. The only thing you can click is the "accept"
button. I close the browser and sometimes don't come back for a while.
They are VERY aggravating!!
I tried an add blocker on my Kindle but it made it slow and scrolling was
jumpy to the point I had to remove it.

Chrome user with Adblock Plus on multiple computers... no problems.
I use the FR (tapatalk) App on my android devices and no problems there either.

Hey Dan this is irrelevant to anything on this thread, just saw you were from Louisville and have to say my wife and I love visiting up there. She's got family there, one of her cousins is a police officer. Seems to get pretty wild at times.. Anyway, Pretty place and we love driving down to the Mammoth Caves anytime we visit.
See, told ya it was all irrelevant.

This is what I use when I browse the site on my phone. I remember getting all sorts of popups too.
