Photos upside down.....help

Can someone fix my 2019 Campsite photos from St Andrews?
I don’t understand why these ones did this, I’ve posted before.
Thanks

It’s not you. It’s this site. It’s a long standing problem and for some reason hasn’t been fixed.

I’ll upload the same pictures to 3 other websites. All handle orientation correctly. FRF doesn’t.

It's bad.

(And no- it doesn’t matter how you hold the phone. The site should interpret the orientation info in the file correctly.)

I was posting photos to this site and on preview it would show them sideways. After a little tinkering with the photos, I found that cropping them with close outlines (get it as close to the picture content you want to keep) solved the issue.

This is the first time my photos posted upside down.
I always post pictures in landscape mode......sideways, for posting.
This time.....upside down.

I agree.. The power button up down left right makes no difference. The page does what it wants.

Ependydad and Site Moderators, if there is some known work to do to fix this, please PM me. I'd be happy to try to fix or test any solutions. Thanks, Skip

OK, they are fixed.

This is a known issue with iphones, but if something has changed, we'll notify the tech team. This is something they will have to investigate.

It’s a known and long standing issue. Something needs to happen with the forum software to appropriately handle image uploads.

I'm going to let Janet know you graciously volunteered your time to perhaps fix or upgrade the software. And you thought we couldn't draft you back to the site team. [emoji3]

You’d hate me as an admin now. DELETE would be my favorite word!
