Good afternoon , I've noticed in the last week or so that any posted pictures won't display ,Is there anything I can do to rectify this ?

Are you talking about pictures you upload yourself, or pictures that are already on the forums?


Are you using an app or the full web version of the site?

Pictures that are sent by other people, othe forums are ok,Just this one.

Which icon do you touch in the phone’s face to start looking at the forum instead of, let’s say, the phone button to make a call?

I go to tapatalk for all the forums

OK, thanks. To answer wmtire’s question in post #4, you are NOT using the full site; you are using the orange Tapatalk APP. Pictures show up correctly on my Tapatalk. You must have changed a setting or loaded a new version of your Android operating system. I don’t use an Android phone so I can’t help after determining what software you’re using to access the forum.

I am using Tapatalk on an Android for this test of a picture upload.

Edit: the pic, after uploading , does display on my phone correctly. Sometimes things like this happen either due to a phone software update, or Tapatalk update.

Chris, let's try something. I am assuming on your phones screen, you have an orange tapatalk icon that you tap to get here.


If you will hold your finger down on that tapatalk icon for a second (instead of tapping it). you will get a popup screen that will let you tap "app info"


Tap the app info. then tap where it says storage.


You will now see at the top of the screen under the word tapatalk, the version number you are using of tapatalk. Mine is 8.8.4...what is yours?


Also under that you will see some boxes to either "clear storage" or "clear cache"


Go ahead and tap clear cache to clear the cache out.



Start tapatalk again, and see if there are any changes and also let me know what version you are using.

Well how about that! That worked I have version 8.8.4
The pictures are back ,Really appreciate the help, Thanks ,Learned something new .

Good to hear. You may need to clear the caches on other things to free up space and make your browser run faster. Google itself can eat up a lot of space with it's cache.

Totally off topic, but that pic I uploaded as a test in post #13, was the TSA security checkpoint last Sunday at DFW airport. No lines there.

I will definitely check those ,And it was a good picture, I wonder how long that will last ?
