Pop Up Ads

I have been using this site for some time and never minded the side bar advertising but today I have received 2 pop up ads from Nutra-System.. is this a new advertisement mode we will have to endure to use this forum for free or is it an anomaly of my iPad?

Yes, I did sign in. I’m always signed in. I’m used to getting the occasional pop up for the newsletter from FROG, I think. But this was from Marie Osmond and Nutri-System. Good, glad it was an anomaly because I would not stay on here if it became routine... Thx

i run a free popup blocker on my laptop as well as my desktop.

I don’t use a laptop or desktop for this site. I use an iPad. That being said, my iPad did ask me to allow the pop up but it does that when someone PMs me so I thought I was getting a PM. Has not happened since so must have been an anomaly... thx...
