problem with a thread

I have been reading the thread Things you see in a campground. there is a post almost everyday that says new today. All the new posts are going to the end of the thread. I just realized this yesterday. Went to the last page and there were the new posts. Shouldn't they be first?

New posts will always be last in the thread.

Unless you choose to show the newer threads first in your User Panel.

Go to User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Options, Thread Display Options, Thread Display Mode.

Select, Linear - Newest First

Thank's ! I checked my settings and I am in linear mode. All the other threads come up right but not the Things you see in a campground. Are they coming up newest first for you. I'm using a PC.

You can change both the thread display order and the post display order.

Be sure to scroll down and hit save when you are finished. personally I like newest first for both options...

Also worth noting that if you are not logged in the site view returns to the default; newest posts at the end of threads ... scrooooooolling required

When I click on a thread, it takes me to the post just after the last one I've read (i.e., if the last time I was on the thread, the last post was #15, it will take me to #16 when I open it again.) So it doesn't bother me that it doesn't put the latest post first.
